TRAVELLING is almost a rite of passage in 2024. The benefits of travel are endless, and working while you explore is a great way to maintain funds, experience everyday life in a different country and give yourself a routine to help you settle into a new place.

For a decade, Lauren Roberts worked as a groom at various levels across the globe. She first jetted off aged 17 to work for an amateur showjumper in Austria, her first real taste of the discipline. When she returned home she'd caught the bug for both travel and showjumping.
