Good Homes Magazine

Welcome

For me, the start of a new year signals two things: decluttering and redecorating! Gone are the days of writing a list for a while, you’ll be familiar with the ‘House Project List’ that I put together at the start of each year, which includes anything from small updates to larger-scale revamps. At the top of my 2024 list is organising every space, beginning with the large cupboard in my back room that I haven’t opened since my son started school – he is now 19! So I’ve picked up some great tips in our decluttering feature on p43. I’d also like to makeover our bedroom in the season’s tactile materials and mellow tones as seen on p33. And for even more inspiration, we’ve got a treat for you in this issue – a free pair of tickets to the Spring Ideal Home Show at Olympia (p23), where you’ll get to explore this year’s innovative Dream Home, styled by our team, plus a free pair of tickets to Grand Designs Live at Excel (p139). See you there!
