Cycling around the yard, I couldn’t keep the grin off my face.
‘I love this bike, Mummy,’ I said happily.
It was my fourth birthday and the pink BMX was a gift from my parents, Julie and Bob.
Suddenly, however, my tummy hurt so much I could barely move and Mum had to carry me inside.
‘Are you all right?’ Mum asked, worried.
