A torrential downpour lasting 48 hours has me questioning my plan to join mountain biking legends Tracy Moseley, Hattie Harnden and – possibly – Evie Richards for a ride around the Malvern Hills. However, a glimmer of hope for improved weather leads me to make the optimistic decision to forge ahead. As I embark on my journey up the M5, the weather is grim, but to my surprise, the ride turns out to be less soggy than expected.
