Listen to audio in mono mode

I’m hard of hearing in my left ear, so when listening to music or audiobooks on my Google Pixel phone I activate Android’s mono mode. It’s in the Hearing section, which is part of Accessibility. On some phones you have to tap ‘Audio adjustment’. Tap the ‘Mono audio’ slider (see screenshot left) to switch the feature on. This directs audio to both earbuds, which means you don’t lose any audio when wearing just one earbud – for me, that’s in my right ear.
