What should I download?

What can I use to recover XLSX files?

Q Can you suggest a program that will recover an XLSX file that I’ve unwittingly deleted? I’d prefer it to be free, but don’t mind paying. I’m running Windows 10 on my PC.

Robin Hurley

Our current recommendation is PhotoRec, which runs on Windows 7, 8, and click the green TestDisk button top right. As well as PhotoRec, this downloads TestDisk which is a specialist tool for recovering deleted partitions.
