ROBIN FLETCHER CARS BUILT TO LAST

Our neighbour Norman was a fish man who liked his cars. It was Easter 1974, just a couple of months after Ted Heath received his answer to the question 'Who governs?' and slippery Harold Wilson became prime minister for the third time. Abba had just shaken up pop with their Eurovision hit Waterloo in Brighton, while the Fetcher family moved to the small Warwickshire town of Henley-in-Arden.
