e live in the Information Age. Leaving aside the issue of “disinformation” for a moment, we have access to incredible amounts of information. contains more information than the average 17th century English person would have encountered in a lifetime. In many ways, that is a problematic assertion, because how do you compare written information with the information gathered through conversation, observation and interaction with the world? Nevertheless, it highlights the perception we carry with us as 21st century humans that we are bombarded with information 24/7. The question is, can we handle it?
