Writing a buying-used article on Harley-Davidson’s flagship Electra Glide model is akin to producing a food review on a McDonald’s menu. It’s a bit difficult to know where to start as the selection is so diverse – plus it’s changed so often over the years.

The Electra Glide name can trace its roots back to 1965, although the basis of the model actually stretches back to 1948 with the introduction of the FL(aka Touring) line-up.
