DON'T MISS Comet 144P/Kushida crosses the Hyades

BEST TIME TO SEE: First half of February in the evening sky

Comet 144P/Kushida is a ninth-magnitude comet this month, a good target for a small telescope or larger-format binoculars. It’s especially well placed for Northern Hemisphere observation and is easy to locate for the first third of the month, as it passes across the Hyades open cluster in Taurus.
