I WAS delighted to hear from Bournemouth EBA Secretary Mike Hinton that their Christmas dinner went well.

“It was very well received by all members,” Mike said. “We had 13 in total, including ex-pro boxers Dave Fry (our inspirational Chairman), Mick Evans, Shaun Stanley and Bob Rees – our oldest member at 91, who boxed out of the Jim Wicks stable.
