From the frame to the cushions and even to the weave of the fabric, there’s a wonderful alchemy to the perfect sofa, and for Molmic, they’ve made quality and comfort part of their DNA. “The decision was madesays Anthony. From design to delivery, every step occurs in-house ensuring the products meet their high standards. For example, the cushion dimensions and the leg heights need to be just right. “We’re pretty particular in the way our sofas sit,” says Anthony. More than 30 years later, Molly still helps in the business with her adult children Anna, Alex, Anthony and John, plus a close-knit team of about 60 employees. Current sofas like the ‘Floyd’, ‘Sherman’ and ‘Daydream’ have Molmic’s signature artistry in a coast-tocountry palette made for a lifetime of lounging. “People come back with sofas they’ve bought 30 years ago to re-cover because they still perform perfectly. We try to make sofas that suit people’s lives because they really are the heart of the home,” says Anthony.
