Royal Mail have revealed their 2024 stamp programme, and it promises to be an exciting year with a wide range of issues released, covering anniversaries, the natural world and popular culture.
The first release of the year, on 11 January, will see a stamp issue dedicated to girl power. (1996) and (1997). Among their hits were the songs ‘Wannabe’, ‘Spice Up Your Life’ and ‘Viva Forever’. Later in the year, another music set will celebrate the rock band The Who, most likely part of the occasional ‘Music Giants’ series that has previously featured artists including The Rolling Stones, Queen and Iron Maiden.
