Fastening my seatbelt, I peered out the window as the plane began taxiing on the runway.

Aged 18, after finishing my beauty diploma, I’d packed up my life in Warrington, England, to live on a cruise ship and work as a spa therapist. Landing in beautiful Puerto Rico and boarding the ship, I was so excited. ‘Home sweet home,’ I smiled from my new room.
