The publishers of Argylle, the newly released first book by writer Elly Conway, couldn’t have asked for better publicity. Late last year, rumours exploded that the real identity of the mysterious novelist was none other than music superstar Taylor Swift.
Little is known about Conway, whose official author biography reveals only that she “was born and raised in upstate New York. She wrote her first novel about Agent Argylle while working as a waitress in a late-night diner.”
