It has been nearly 20 years since I began writing about the benefits of managing property for better deer and deer hunting. Frankly, when I wrote that first QDM article I never envisioned the subject would generate such ongoing interest. It has proven to be a very special journey. Through the years, my QDM articles have allowed me to come in contact with hundreds of like-minded landowners and hunters.
Seldom does a week pass that someone doesn’t call or write asking how they can grow better deer. Most of these inquiries begin with the person asking me one of two questions:
