Boasting an impressive pedigree, Armytage House is one of the finest Colonial Regency style houses in Victoria. Designed by architect Edward Prowse it is characterised by its Ionic portico and ornate wrought-iron verandah encircling its two storeys. The original owner, pastoralist George Armytage was also chatelain of South Yarra’s Como House. In the intervening years the
