His Lordship / Hot Stamp

Dripping with rock’n’roll attitude, smouldering in haphazardly contrived hand-me-down satin ’n’ tat, London-based quintet Hot Stamp – built around the central hub ofStooges, hellzapoppin’ Hypnotics and Bowery Blondie is simply irresitible. The first song the siblings ever wrote together’s called because, well… of course it is, and as Poppy casually nails Wayne Kramer’s searing signature solo she can’t even be arsed to look pleased. Textbook ’tude. Rockstar 101. Hot Stamp? Love you so.
