1 What’s this – more UAFX pedals but smaller?

Yes, that’s about the size of it. These are the first in a new compact series that each sport an individual selected effect type taken from their larger-footprint pedals.

2 What’s the point in that?

Well, rather than the bells and whistles do-it-all vibe, it’s a more focused approach in giving players something that they may really feel the need for at a more affordable price point.

3 Do they sound the same as those larger pedals?

Exactly the same: it’s the same algorithm as found in the bigger pedal. The Orion, for example, takes the Tape EP-III program from the Starlight Echo Station to give you a pure mono tape echo pedal.
