“I READ Colin Hanton’s book not long after watching and I just immediately likened it to Rodriguez’s story. Here you havethe planet who was there the day John fell in love with rock’n’roll, the day John met Paul and, of course, the day Paul introduced everyone to George. I just found a bittersweet humour in the story and how it all sort of serendipitously came together. They had no clue what they were doing. They were just enjoying themselves, having fun, learning to play music. And it turned into being one of the biggest rock’n’roll stories of all time.
