Our annual Awards season brings with it a mammoth undertaking in which we consider every product to which we have awarded a five-star review in the preceding year, as well as a raft of brand-new kit. Much of the latter is submitted by manufacturers themselves and some of it is so new that it goes on sale only days before our winners are announced.
