I am extremely optimistic about the future of our Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying sectors, as we continue to march forward on the path of progress and development.

Government of India has taken a historic stride towards making the Sagar Putras part of the development saga through the "Sagar Parikrama" initiative. Launched in March 2022, as part of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", this unparalleled initiative spearheaded by Shri Parshottam Rupala, Hon'ble Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has covered various Coastal states and Union Territories in its 10-phases so far.
