The success of the Sagar Parikrama Vatra is a testament to the transformative power of visionary leadership. Under the able guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our Government has been in relentless pursuit towards holistic development of Maa Bharti's vast 8,000 km+ coastline, with special focus on the welfare of our coastal communities and flsherfolks.

The Initiatives of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Vojana, have catalysed an impressive growth in the Indian Fisheries sector, as we reached all-time highs in fish production and exports. I am extremely optimistic about the future of our Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying sectors, as we continue to march forward on the path of progress and development.

India's 8,118-kilometer coastline is not just a geographical expanse but a lifeline for millions. Government of India has taken a historic stride towards making the Sagar Putras part of the development saga through the "Sagar Parikrama" initiative. Launched in March 2022, as part of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", this unparalleled initiative spearheaded by Shri Parshottam Rupala, Hon'ble Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has covered various Coastal states and Union Territories in its 10-phases so far. Now, let's take a closer look at each of these phases and explore the experiences, uncovering the complexities and understanding the overall journey:
