While addressing investors at the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, 2023 on December 8, 2023, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said, “This Devbhoomi full of potential is definitely going to open many doors of investment for you. Today, Uttarakhand is a shining example of the mantra with which India is moving forward in terms of both development and heritage.” This illustrates how Uttarakhand is writing the story of development. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand is moving on the path of progress and is opening new doors for investment.
Speaking in the concluding session of the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, 2023, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said, “Under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand has made its biggest progress so far. Uttarakhand has earned the respect of a policy-driven state by implementing more than 27 policies. Here you will get good destination as well as corruption free governance, which is very important for investment. The government has made parallel records of cultural heritage and development here. Uttarakhand's excellent law and order system and security have provided a favorable environment to investors. This summit will give new impetus to the development of Devbhoomi."
During this summit, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami told the investors, “The Investorshe was the CM of Gujarat. Inspired by this, the state government has organized an Investors Summit on the theme of ‘Destination Uttarakhand’. It will be our endeavor to organize this summit every two years. The main objective of ‘Destination Uttarakhand’ is the overall development of the state by coordinating ecology and economy with green economy and employment. An investor needs good business environment, good legal system, investment friendly policies and better connectivity as well as good health and climate. Uttarakhand has all this.”
