Manchester United owner Avram Glazer was in the stands for the team’s unconvincing FA Cup semi-final win against Coventry City to heap further pressure on manager Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils scraped past their lower league opponents on penalties to set up a final clash against hated rivals Manchester City.

But, despite huge investment on signings, the side sits a distant sixth in the Premier League and the presence of Glazer suggests that Ten Hag’s job might be under threat.

INEOS billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe invested in the club alongside the Glazers earlier this season, taking a 25 per cent stake, and his influence is set to ring the changes.
