HER mother was reluctant to let her join her on tour. Not only was it gruelling – 56 shows in 17 different countries – but she wanted to shield her from the potential danger of putting herself out there too much.

Blue Ivy Carter, however, isn’t the kind of kid who takes no for an answer and eventually she reached a compromise with her mom: she could go on stage but her appearances would be limited.

The 11-year-old surprised fans when she made her debut dance performance alongside Beyoncé on the superstar’s Renaissance World Tour to the track My Power earlier this year.
