GETTING OUTSIDE during the darker months of the year can be challenging, but it can also be the most rewarding time to do so. The landscapes are transformed from the harsh greens of summer to a colourful mix of yellows, browns, oranges and reds. The sun sits lower in the sky, casting dramatic patterns of light as it breaks through the gaps in the clouds.
