Iconic British institution
Like Katie Carr (page 40), my childhood was punctuated by The Shipping Forecast. The walls of our Cornish family home echoed with Radio and the brave RNLI volunteers of the Penlee lifeboat, lost their lives in heavy seas and hurricane force winds off west Cornwall.
