WHAT INSPIRED SPHEROID?

<Around 1988 in C64 , I made a simple maze of coloured blocks that you moved a metal ball around, some blocks being safe and some causing you to die. That transferred over to the Amiga around 1990 when I bought AMOS and went through additions and improvements. I stopped around 1993, knee deep in A-levels.
