I just read Terry McGean’s column “Tales of Tenacity,” and now I want to bore you with my story. I was born in 1959 in a small community in the “thumb” of Michigan. My brother was eight years older than me and graduated from high school in 1969, and many of his friends had Chevelles, GTOs, Plymouths, Torinos, and so on — it was a great time to be a kid.
