PREPARE UNDER COVER SPACES
Use this quieter time in the garden to ensure that all under cover spaces are thoroughly clean and organised. Sweep benches with a stiff brush, checking underneath for any lurking snails and slugs and rehoming them, remembering that spiders are useful insect catching friends in the greenhouse. Wash mildew off glass panes with a scrubbing brush and water, avoiding harsh chemicals which can affect the biodiversity in your growing spaces.
