FLOODED PLOT SOLUTION

It was interesting to read Stephanie Hafferty’s article about gardening on wet/flooded ground (December issue). Our veg plot too has suffered from flooding. In the summer we convertedwe hoped that raising the level would help the plants to sit a bit above the flooded ground. The recent rain in October and November has certainly vindicated our decision. Our crops have improved and look likely to continue doing so. We need to work with the present climate and do it now.
