'Running out of talent was a low point'

It is easy to overlook the fact that just three years ago, in 2020, UK rallying was decimated by Covid lockdowns.

There was very little rallying at all that year and in 2021 there was only a faltering recovery in the later part of the year. Just two years on, the sport has enjoyed a remarkably strong 2023 season despite ongoing financial turmoil.
