Gloucestershire Warwickshire race trains return behind prairie

NEWS

IN what is becoming an annual exchange of locomotives, WR 4-6-0 No. 7820 Dimore Manor moved from its home base at Toddington on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway to the South Devon Railway in midNovember.

In return, GWR 2-6-2Tarrived at Toddington on November 15 and after inspection was pressed immediately into service on the 17th for the race train to Cheltenham Race Course. Further trains ran on November 18.
