Jubilee is central to TRA saleroom

STEAM trumped diesel at Talisman's saleroom auction on November 30 when LMS nameplate from Jubilee No. 45582 went under the hammer for £6400, leaving in its wake from Class 47 CoCo D1111/47528 from D49 class No. 62718 (£3000). Non-sellers in the category comprised LMS pair from Jubilee No. 45678 and from Princess Coronation No. 46253, although both sold after the auction closed for £6000 and £12,000 respectively. from LNER B17 No. 61667 remained unsold.
