    Who is Mary Earps? England’s number one goalkeeper wins BBC Sports Personality of the Year

    Mary Earps, the goalkeeper for Manchester United and England, has been chosen as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 2023.One year after Beth Mead, her England teammate, took home the title, she became the second female football player to do so. 

    Stuart Broad, an English cricket player, was runner-up, followed by , the world heptathlon champion.
