ORIGINAL MOVIE The sci-fi event of the year arrives after a decade in the making. Initially pitched as a Star Wars film by director Zack Snyder—who gave us Army of the Dead and Justice League—this epic tale’s first half (subtitled Part One: A Child of Fire) unfurls the tale of Kora (Sofia Boutella, above), a fierce young woman uniting a band of warriors to protect their village on a moon called Veldt from the evil Imperium government.
