At the launch of the new Amarok, VW reckoned the Style would be their best seller, wrapping excellent on-road and off-road capability in the new chassis without the expense of a V6 engine. We chose the Style for that reason.

When it came to the Ford, we applied the same criteria but found our vehicle of choice in the much broader Ford range was the Wildtrak V6. It seems like bringing a VW knife to a Ford gunfight, and yet is it?
