As an astophotographer, travelling light has not always been easy and although I have owned the original Star Adventurer for the past eight years I’ve not found it to be the easiest tracking mount to set up.

Recently I bought the company’s latest version of the GTI and this is a real game-changer for mobile tracking mounts. It weighs only 6.4kg including tripod and extension pier (excluding balance weights).
