These days, Supergiant Games is best known for Hades, but the studio’s journey began with Bastion, in many ways a kind of spiritual predecessor to its smash hit. Like Hades, it’s an isometric brawler and shooter at heart, but also like Hades it’s the stuff going on around the action that makes it rather special.
