MOST kids would recoil in horror at the sight of a 2m-long python but Mason Daniel is no ordinary 12-year-old.

He’s the son of skilled Richards Bay snake handler Peter “Daring” Daniel – and just like his dad, he has a big interest in wriggling reptiles.

Peter recently received a distress call from a resident in Birdswood, KwaZulu-Natal, who spotted a python devouring a chicken on their property. Without hesitation, father and son sprang into action –
