HOW DID YOUR KITING JOURNEY BEGIN? DID YOU QUICK-LY GRAVITATE TOWARDS FOILING?

One day, two years after learning to kite, I was out rowing in a little boat when there wasn’t enough wind to kite. An hour in, a kitefoiler flew by me. I instantly saw the hydrofoil as a way to maximize my days on the water. That eventually turned into me solely kitefoiling, and the rest is history.

YOU WENT ON TO BECOME THE GKA HYDROFOIL FREE-STYLE CHAMPION IN 2020. WAS IT A NATURAL TRANSI-TION TO GET INTO COMPETING?
