Kia’s compact Seltos SUV opens at $29,500 for the 110kW 2.0 litre petrol/continuously variable auto/front-wheel drive Seltos S.

Seltos Sport is $32,700, Sport+ is $35,800 and GT-Line is $41,500.

All-wheel drive models start at $39,300 for the 146kW 1.6-litre turbopetrol/eight-speed automatic transmission Seltos Sport+, which we’re testing here.

Top spec Seltos GT-Line, with the same drivetrain, is $44,900.
