Cultivating variety

I headed north, to Lincolnshire, in September to visit Robbie Thorpe at his home in Fleet. Robbie will be no stranger to regular readers of T&M, and my reason for visiting him on this occasion was to sample the delights of a cultivating day that he had arranged in the field behind his yard.

Although originally planned as a Fordson Dexta-themed day, that had now all changed and I had absolutely no idea which machinery would be taking part, due to Robbie’s friends owning a huge variety of different tractors. As I arrived, I still had no idea what to expect – but as is always the case
