Michael Menzel’s artwork has graced games like Stone Age, Settlers of Catan, and many others, but his game design work is limited to only a handful of titles. One of those–Legends of Andor–scooped up a Spiel des Jahres, and his latest should be in the running for another. Dragonkeepers seems a bit unassuming at first glance, with simple components and rules, but a few key elements give it an unexpected depth.
