World Fantasy Awards winners

The winners of the World Fantasy Awards for 2022 were announced at the World Fantasy Convention in Kansass City at the end of October. Best Novel, C.S.E. Cooney (Solaris); Best Novella, Priya Sharma (Absinthe); Best Short Fiction, ‘Incident at Bear Creek Lodge’, Tananarive Due (published in Best Anthology, edited by Sheree Renée Thomas, Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki, Zelda Knight (Tordotcom); Best Collection, Tim Lebbon (PS Publishing); Special Award – Professional, Matt Ottley, for and (Dirt Lane); Special Award – Non-Professional, Michael Kelly, for Undertow Publications. Peter Crowther of the UK’s PS Publishing was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award, as was the American editor John R. Douglas, who died in August.
