From the street, Dawn and Andrew Lindsay’s bayside Melbourne home doesn’t look all that different from its neighbours: a brick and timber-clad affair with a modest front lawn sliced by a two-track concrete driveway. Certain things, though, do suggest something a bit special might be hiding within. The place is painted pastel yellow, for example, punctuated by a cherry red front door. An impressive cactus collection lines the side fence.
