Margeaux Davis & Matt Wiseman

IT WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE A PIT STOP. Margeaux Davis, her husband, Matt, and their two baby boys were driving home from a holiday in northern New South Wales and everyone was ready for a break from the car. When they saw the “Open for inspection” sign outside a little weatherboard cottage, it seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Situated on an acre block in the tiny town of Dunoon, overlooking rolling green hills, macadamia orchards and cow paddocks, the 100-year-old house won Margeaux over the moment she set foot inside. “It was so light and airy and full of character and just felt really friendly…and it was so pretty!” she says.
