MOUNT REMARKABLE EPIC, MELROSE, SA

Melrose sits about 2.5 hours north Adelaide, in South Australia. It is on the door step of the Flinders Ranges and the oldest town in the area. About 20 years ago, Melrose had around 20km of trails cut in lovingly by hand. This has grown over time, and the trails and town have gathered quite a popular following. It’s an easy place to drive into, park and ride. You won’t get in your car again until it is time to go home.

The Melrose Fat Tyre Festival (held in June) still floods the town with mountain bikers and their families who book the place out year-on-year.
