How does the James Deakin story begin?
It all began when I was 12 years old riding a Kawasaki KV100 around the family dairy farm at Bellthorpe in Queensland. I used to ride around in the local bush following any old enduro arrows that I came across. Then I saw an ad for a motocross event at Tivoli and talked my older brother into taking me. I was watching people riding around in the mud and thought “I could beat these blokes”.
