Glenys Kinnock: Former minister and campaigner dies aged 79

Former Labour minister Glenys Kinnock has died aged 79 at her home in London.

Baroness Kinnock, who was the wife of ex-Labour leader Lord Kinnock, died peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of Sunday morning, her family said.

She served as a minister in Sir ’s Labour government and also represented Wales in the European Parliament
